Amol Patel

I grew up in the Philadelphia area and currently live in Brooklyn, NY. My passion for software and computers started at a young age, when I was jailbreaking iPod Touches, creating websites for local restaurants, and building custom computers.

I went to Georgia Tech in Atlanta where I studied Computer Science. This was my first exposure to building real software by programming robots and making web applications.

After graduating, I moved to NYC and began my career at a large bank. I quickly realized I wanted to work at smaller companies where I could have a larger impact and use software without it having to be approved by the higher ups. Since then, I've been working at early-stage startups across a variety of industries, including healthcare, fintech, and operations.

In my free time, I'm working on getting better at golf, skiing, baking bread, and traveling. I also love working on side projects such as Feed The Villages and Tapovan Sanskar Foundation.
